This little quote just made me laugh and I kept thinking back on it and thought I had to share! :)
"It had been a startling day for young Copperfield: most of the morning confined to an enema-bag carton; his first attempt at flight; his long fall through the weeds; and then sitting on that dead man's face. What next? young Copperfield wondered."
Such a quintessential passage for Mr. Irving. Such imagery - and it really just made me giggle. Poor Copperfield!
PS I am truly enjoying the novel now - such interesting and complex characters all on such a unique journey. I love hearing about their lives and this world. Only about 1/2 way through but quite enjoying the story!
