Sorry I haven't had much to say about Ender's Game. I was very happy to read it again and understood the adults much better the second time through. I realized you have to suspend disbelief a lot for this book, especially after reading Bryce's reading questions and realizing I had no answers for them. But the characters are all so great that suspending disbelief over the society and situations is easy.
Eat Pray Love is something of the opposite. She's going to interesting places and doing neat stuff, but I could honestly care less. She comes across as self-absorbed, which is a danger when writing about finding yourself I suppose. And I think I would get more into it if she went on this trip, wrote about it and then sold the book, but she was paid to write the book before she even went on the trip. The idea of her going on this journey of self discovery and looking for thoughts and experiences to go into her book at the same time just makes it all seem insincere. I do like her writing style and enjoy the few sections where she writes about where she is as opposed to herself.
