Well I actually read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies a couple of months ago before I even knew it was going to be a book for the book club because my friend let me borrow it. My friend and I saw it in the book store and thought it was so weird and funny having someone actually write it so my friend decided to buy it. It wasn't really my favorite book. I really like the original Pride and Prejudice without the zombies and I don't really like zombies anyway by themselves. I thought that the weirdest part was Charlotte turning into an zombie with Mr Collins not really noticing.
I really like Guernsey. It was enjoyable.

PPZ was a tough one for me as I am not a huge fan of the original P&P anyway. I thought the Zombie idea was interesting, but really odd. I try to just go with it in books or movies or whatever when they throw an interesting curve ball at me, but I had a tough time with this one. Forme, all the Zombie stuff made an already barely tolerable book feel even harder to read. It had moments of funny campy things that I liked-for example, I liked the friend gradually turning into a Zombie unbeknownst to her husband. Very funny to me. The book had interesting choices, but not really my cup of tea.
