September, October and a Plea!

This month's book is going to be "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" by Jane Austen & Seth Grahame-Smith.Please, go read it-I am intrigued. I will be starting it this weekend.

I also have picked a book for October. It will be "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I am reading it now and already have a lot to say about it.

PLEASE SEND YOUR SUGGESTIONS FOR BO)OKS SO WE CAN START GETTING THIS YEAR"S MONTHLY LIST UP HERE!! Any book you want is OK-you can suggest as many as you like and I will just add them to the month's lists as the suggestions come!

I was reading P&P&Z in a Children's Hospital waiting room today. It somehow didn't seem right to have that cover while surrounded by all those child-friendly images. lol

I suggest Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse by Kaleb Nation.

I suggest Nightfall by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverbrrg, and The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett. The later is quite possibly my favorite book.

Can I change my mind? Or just make another suggestion?

Well I say The Siren by Kiera Cass.

I don't know if everyone has already read this or not, but the Golden Compass is a wonderful book - and only gets better if you read all three books in the set (Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, Amber Spyglass).
Great for discusion! :)

I'd like to read 'A Confederacy of Dunces' by John Kennedy Toole to see if it's really as funny as it's made out to be.
