A friend suggested this book and that is why I chose it. Here is what I liked about it:
-It was a quick read...less than a day for me
-It was entertaining...I couldn't put it down
-It made me feel like our society is really not that bad in comparison
-I'm a sucker for any kind of romance whether real or acted out for sponsors.
-I felt that it had a great storyline...one that I haven't heard of before.
I finished the book and I can't WAIT for the next book to come out in September. So, what I didn't like?
-The first person, present tense...hard to get by but after a few pages I was adjusted.
-It wasn't the best written book I've read...I picked up a few errors, but what do you do? I'm not the editor...
-For some reason the leading lady bothered me a bit with her emotionally constipated self...yes, I said constipated. For most women emotions are an everyday part of life. Granted, Kat had a pretty crazy and hard life, but you think she would be better in tune with her emotions. I could be wrong here...
Anyway, all in all a great read. I'm glad I picked it. SO, what's on the agenda for next month?
